Philadelphia Flyers place player on waivers for the purpose of contract termination
The Philadelphia Flyers have had a rocky start to the season to say the least and it appears they've granted a player's wish to no longer be a part of the team
Lukas Sedlak who was claimed off of waivers from the Colorado Avalanche October 19th has been placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.
Earlier today John Tortorella said he was no longer with the team and it seems the motivation for putting him on waivers is so that he has the opportunity to go and home to the Czech Republic as Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff points out:
Sedlak 29, collected all of his 8 points, 3 goals and 5 assists with the Flyers this season across 30 games for the Avs and Flyers
