The NHL's March 21 Trade Deadline is fast-approaching and one name that hasn't been mentioned nearly as much as it should be when it comes to potential targets is that of Philadelphia Flyers defenseman, Justin Braun.
With so many other big names out there -- including teammate and Flyers' captain, Claude Giroux -- the much-less-flashy Braun has flown under the radar on the lists of many covering the NHL. As of press time, Braun isn't even mentioned in the top 25 of TSN's Trade Bait Board, nor did The Athletic rank him among the top 30 of potentially-coveted deadline acquisitions. That's just wrong!
A veteran of 771 NHL regular season and 100 Stanley Cup Playoff games, Braun is a steady, stay-at-home defenseman who was a key member of the 2015-2016 San Jose Sharks team which lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins. There isn't a playoff-bound team in the League which wouldn't stand to improve with his experience and defense-first approach, and Braun knows it:
Which playoff-bound team do you see as the right fit for Justin Braun?
