The SHL is the top League in Sweden and just like every other league around the world, things get heated on the game situation. One thing you can never do no matter how angry a player may be is tough an official. If a player does, bad things happen.
According to Hockey News Hub Jiri Smejkal who plays for Oskarshamn was given a two game suspension for pushing an official in a game against Rögle, take a look:
Two game suspension for Jiří Smejkal for abuse of an official. #SHL
This comes as Smejkal was going off for charging with the second period winding down. While the official was trying to direct Smejkal passingly pushed the official resulting in the 2 game suspension.
I don't care how light this push may be, you can never put you hands on an official much less, shove him. To me, this is the right call.
