We all know Vancouver Canucks' defenceman, Quinn Hughes is one of the best young players in the game right now, but it turns out Hughes is also an incredible person off the ice.
Meet Warrior Will.
Will is an 8-year-old boy who is a giant Vancouver Canucks fan. Unfortunately, Will is also battling Leukemia. Will and his parents are from Oklahoma and they reached out to the Vancouver Canucks' star in hopes of getting Will either a jersey or autograph. But Quinn Hughes went even further with an amazing gesture.
Because of the COVID-19 restrictions Hughes was limited to only sending Will some items via the mail. But now with restrictions lifting, Quinn was able to go above and beyond for young. Hughes and some teammates surprised Will before the game in Dallas. Will was able to meet his hero and he Canucks were able to gift Will and his family tickets to the game.
Hughes, had 1 assist as the Canucks would defeat the Dallas Stars 4-1 making it a night that Warrior Will will never forget.
