With Carey Price being injured for the past 2 years, the Montreal Canadiens seem to have made peace with their star goalies departure. Even though Price played 5 games last season, the Canadiens kept his locker spot all season long. The 22-23 season hasn't even started, but Carey Price no longer has a locker in the Habs dressing room
Sam Montembeault has taken up Price's stall. Clearly the Habs have just confirmed what the fans have been speculating. Carey Price's career is slowly looking like it's official. Question remains, will Price come out at the end of the season as a retired player, or is there a way to keep him on LTIR so the Habs can keep the Cap Relief? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
