San Jose Sharks assistant coach busted open on the Shark's bench
Hockey players are one of the toughest groups of people in the world. That toughness is on full display nightly, but last night that toughness translated over to the San Jose Shark's bench as well.
Wednesday night Sharks assistant coach, Ryan Warsofsky was struck by a deflected puck. After being hit Warsofsky was left leaking badly and everyone on the bench was clearly concerned.
While coaches from any other sport would have likely called it a night, Warsofsky however, took a different approach. Warsofsky ended up heading to the locker room, got himself stitched up and returned to the game.
When he returned from the locker room, Warsofsky was all smiles and appeared no worse for the wear.
