Senators GM Pierre Dorion Says They Won't Spend to the Cap Unless All Homes Games Are Sold Out
The Ottawa Senators ended the 2021-2022 season, with 71 points and a record of 32-42-7.
Yesterday during Media availability Pierre Dorion claimed that they won't push their remaining cap space unless Senators fans sell out all 41 home games.
A losing team issuing ultimatums to their base seems like the opposite way of doing this.
After acquiring Adam Gaudette and Matthieu Joseph, and with Anton Forsberg ascendant as the new starter, it would seem smart to add more to bolster a successful future.
It seems that Ottawa may not have learned from the past.
