Tampa Bay gets positive update ahead of Rangers series opener
When Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Brayden Point was injured in game 7 of Tampa's first round series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, it didn't look great. The top goal scorer in the last two playoffs laboured off the ice, but stayed on the bench to support his team. Nobody knew if we'd see him for the rest of Tampa's playoff run. There may be some positive news on that front though.
It appears as if Point may be nearing a return sooner than expected and may even play at some point during the Lightning's conference final series against the New York Rangers which kicks off tomorrow at 8pm eastern
Again, Point's impact in the Tampa Bay Lineup cannot be understated. He's a monster who lives for the big stage, hopefully he gets in the lineup as soon as possible. It sure would give Tampa a big offensive boost
