Tanner Jeannot challenges Ryan Reaves for the NHL's heavyweight crown in spirited tilt
Ryan Reaves is widely considered the toughest Heavyweight in the NHL. That title often makes Reaves a target of young up and comers looking to make a name for themselves. Tanner Jeannot has made quite the name for himself over parts of the last 3 seasons for the Nashville Predators.
The Rangers and Predators only face off twice a year so Reaves and Jeannot haven't had an opportunity to face off against each other until last night. During the 3rd period the two took the opportunity to get acquainted.
Jeannot began the fight with the advantage of having a visor, but Reaves quickly punched away that advantage. The two exchanged some big shots before Reaves ended up with the takedown.
This was a solid tilt between the two players, but we give the edge to Reaves on the judges cards.
