Jacob Trouba's controversial hit on Corey Perry rocked the hockey world. He laid into Perry pretty hard when he clearly wasn't in possession of the puck. This was one of many huge hits Trouba has landed this season, which has garnered him a reputation around the league.
New York Post hockey writer Mollie Walker was able to sitdown with teammate Andrew Copp and this is what he said about his teammate.
"He was getting yelled at when we were 12 years old for taking guys' heads off."
Now clearly the league has been wanting to get away from this kind of play, but let's face it, the refs missed yet another one during the playoffs on this hit.
