The worst hockey analyst just somehow managed to get another job in hockey
Last month, Pierre McGuire was termianted by the Ottawa Senators. His tenure with the club barely lasted a year and yet it was still a polarizing time. Last year McGuire's reach led the Senators to select Tyler Boucher 10th overall.
The problem?
Boucher was expected to be a 2nd or even 3rd round pick on many draft cards. Many immediately pointed to the connection between McGuire and his friend and former co-worker Brian Boucher, assuming McGuire simply drafted his friends son.
Fast forward and now the Sens are stuck with Boucher, McGuire has been terminated and apparently at least one sports outlet feels they need McGuire's expertise.
Sportsnet has reportedly hired Sidney Crosby's biggest fan to help cover the draft. With all the cutbacks at Sportsnet it's difficult to understand why they feel McGuire of all people is worth the money.
