Things get heated between Arber Xhekaj and Brady Tkachuk, after Xhekaj shoots the puck at Tkachuk
Arber Xhekaj is always looking for his next challenge at the NHL level. After developing a very strong reputation for himself early in the year, the rookie has continued to look for worthy opponents. Tonight was no different.
At the conclusion of the second period, Xhekaj saw an opportunity to egg on Brady Tkachuk. As the clock runs out Xhekaj shoots the puck at Tkachuk, which clearly upsets Tkachuk.
The linesmen were able to get to the two players before the two dropped the gloves. But things escalated as Xhekaj threw a gloved punch to the head of Tkachuk. As the game heads to the 3rd period it feels like a matter of time before the two finally go at it.
