Two unlikely combatants drop the gloves as the Vancouver Canucks route the Vegas Golden Knights
Last night the Vancouver Canucks upset the Vegas Golden Knights with a 5-1 victory. This marked the Canucks 4th win in their last 5 games. This has easily been the Canucks best stretch of the season with wins over the Sabres, Kings, Avalanche and Sabres.
After Conor Garland tripped Jonathan Marchessault the two squared off for a short and spirited tilt. The two exchanged some solid shots as they both let out some frustration.
On the play Garland was awarded 2 minutes for tripping, 5 for fighting and a 10 minute misconduct ending his night. While Marchessault was given a fighting major of his own. The Canucks continue their climb up the standings, which will likely again derail any thoughts of a rebuild from ownership.
