The Vancouver Canucks are heading into next season with a small dilemma on their hands. They are currently projected to be over the cap by $2,700,000 and need to figure a way to get under the cap.
Not only do they have salary cap issues, they also have a goalie problem. They have too many in the pipe and one goalie in particular is wanting more.
According to Rick Dahliwal from The Athletic, the Canucks management have asked Michael Di Pietro's agent to help make a trade happen.
Darren Ferris (agent) got the permission from the Canucks management to talk with other teams to try and facilitate a trade.
Even with the trade, the Vancouver Canucks still have a cap issue. It's going to be interesting to see how they manage come game 1 of the season.
