Every year, players and teams make way too early Stanley Cup predictions and this year is no exception. With camp set to open next week, we have our first prediction of the year and the answer may shock you, or make you laugh, or both.
According to Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News, Nashville Predators star defender Roman Josi, thinks The Toronto Maple Leafs will make it to the Stanley Cup inal and be the last team standing in the east next season.
Say what you will, mock the Leafs all you want, but am I the only one that sees American media and teams alike being nice to Toronto. Everywhere you turn in Canada it's «the leafs suck», dare I say American media coverage covers the team more accurately?
Like I said, love them or hate them, sometimes the unbridled rage that comes Toronto's way is unwarranted and it's refreshing to see media coverage that doesn't automatically default to the «Leafs suck»
