Last week it was reported that Winnipeg Jets Head Coach Rick Bowness had tested positive for COVID-19. Bowness missed multiple games as he recovered from the illness, but he was back behind the bench for the Jets last game. But today at Jet's morning skate during his media availability Bowness was forced to abandon his post to seek immediate medical attention.

Bowness has reportedly been suffering from post COVID dizziness in the wake of his diagnosis of COVID.

#NHLJets coach Rick Bowness just had to cut morning skate media availability short as he's apparently been suffering from dizzy spells this morning. Getting checked out by medical staff. Status for game tonight not clear. 67-year-old coming off COVID. Wishing him the best. #wfp

Lots of concern here at Canada Life Centre for #NHLJets coach Rick Bowness. He apparently insisted on doing the media availability despite earlier dizzy spells, but clearly was in some distress at the podium (as some may have seen by the live broadcast on team social media). #wfp

Hopefully the medical team in Winnipeg can work to get Bowness back up to full speed as he continues to battle this illness.
