Zach Benson May Have Scored the Nicest Ever First NHL Goal

Scoring your first ever NHL goal has to be a great feeling for any player. Very few, if any, have done it with this much style.
Zach Benson, who is just 18 years old, is playing in his ninth NHL game tonight. Late in the first period, he picked up a nice pass not far from the Washington Capitals net to get in all alone. Benson made no mistake about it, deking goaltender Darcy Kuemper out of his pants with a phenomenal between-the-legs move.
Just ridiculous stuff from a very young player who has plenty of time yet to get even better. Benson, who's a smaller player for the league at five-foot-nine and 165 lbs, was taken 13th overall by the Sabres in the latest NHL draft.
