Boston Bruins name an honorary Captain minutes before puck drop
The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs are set to face off in game 7 in just minutes. Before the opening face off and national anthems, the Boston Bruins announced an honorary captain for tonight's game. TD Garden Arena was sent into a frenzy when Patrice Bergeron appeared on the jumbotron.
The roof just came off TD Garden when Patrice Bergeron was introduced as honorary banner captain.
Bergeron scored the Game 7 OT winner for the #bruins against the #leafs in 2013.

Bergeron plate his entire career with the Bruins and retired after last season. His return to Boston is Shirley to charge both the Bruins and the crowd who desperately need the energy after two disappointing losses against the Leafs.
The Maple Leafs will get a major boost as auston Matthews returns to the lineup tonight. However, they will be playing without Joseph Woll in goal who suffered an injury Thursday night on the very last save attempt of the game.
