According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes almost came together at this year's trade deadline in a trade that would've sent Linus Ullmark to the Carolina Hurricanes; take a look.
Although Friedman did make it clear that he wasn't sure if Necas Was involved in those talks, with Ullmark entering the last year of his contract next season, it's no surprise that the Bruins wanted to see if they could move him.
Ullmark, 30, played in 40 games for the Bruins this season, he compile the record of 22-10-7 including 2 shutouts, a 2.57 goals-against-average and a .915 save percentage.
