Currently preparing for their next game, on Wednesday, against the Calgary Flames, the Kings have officially made a roster move. In breaking news, we learned that the organization placed Arthur Kaliyev on waivers.
Insider Elliotte Friedman also revealed that the Utah Hockey Club claimed
Nick Desimone from the NHL waiver wire.
Read Friedman's post here:
This season, he took part in five games with the Reign in the AHL. It'll be interesting to see if an NHL team sees his potential and decides to claim him.
As for Nick Desimone, he played 38 games since making his NHL debut in 2022. He scored seven points, including two goals, playing a great depth role with the Flames and Devils while making a lot of back and forth between the AHL and the NHL.
If Desimone remains in the NHL with Utah HC, he will likely have the role of seventh defenseman, or step up in case of other injuries.
