Chris Pronger is one of the greatest players in the modern era of the NHL, and now the superstar has called out a massive company on X after poor service.
Between 1993 and 2012, Chris Pronger was one of, if not the best defenseman in the NHL, with the now 50-year old going down in history after posting a solid 698 points in 1,167 NHL games played.
Back in 2015, Pronger was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, with the former No. 2 overall pick having a career that a majority of players that make it to the NHL could only ever dream of.
Now, the former superstar has taken to X in a controversial post to call out transportation behemoth Uber, claiming that he had an unsatisfactory experience with the company recently.
Hey @Uber when I order a Black SUV I expect and am paying for something that is large and an SUV! Not trying to book a crossover vehicle! If I was I would choose that option. This has happened quite a bit recently. What are you doing about this?
Pronger quickly received criticism for calling out Uber, but whether the customer is a millionaire or an average joe on the streets, anyone should be able to call them out publicly when something goes wrong.
Playing for the St. Louis Blues, Philadelphia Flyers, Edmonton Oilers and the Anaheim Ducks, with whom he won his lone Stanley Cup, Pronger will be remembered for years to come given his contributions to the NHL.
While Uber hasn't responded to Pronger publicly yet, it's not a good sign for someone with his status to be calling you out, so hopefully things could be resolved between the two parties after the post from Pronger on X.
