Regardless of whether Alexander Ovechkin beats Wayne Gretzky's all-time NHL goal scoring record, he will go down in history as one of the league's best ever to do it. It seems the 38-year-old wants his two sons to know the world of hockey as well.
Ovechkin and wife Nastasiya have shared a view videos of oldest son Sergei on the ice with his father, other members of the Washington Capitals as well. Now, Ovi has decided to show his youngest son Ilya's first time on skates, while he and his oldest show him the ropes.
The minute long video features Ilya, who turns four on Sunday, getting his legs under him as he skates onto the ice for the first time ever. Ovechkin and both of his kids have a wonderful time in the process.
