Two Team Canada World Junior Championship Snubs Appear to Have Taken Some Satisfaction After Canada's Loss

Two players who didn't make the roster for Team Canada at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship are caught taking some glee in their country's upset loss to Latvia
To make matters worse, two players who many thought were shoo-ins to make Team Canada appear to have taken some satisfaction in the loss.
Both have been liking social media posts that that included the score of Friday's game.
Carter Yakemchuk is the 7th overall pick in the latest NHL entry draft, selected by the Ottawa Senators and currently playing for the WHL's Calgary Hitmen. The 19-year-old defenceman has 12 goals and 29 points in 26 games this season.
Zayne Parekh, taken 9th overall by the Calgary Flames, is another defenceman with a big offensive upside. He has 11 goals and 36 points in 28 games with the Saginaw Spirit.
