Video Emerges of Drew Doughty Calling out PK Subban For Picking Team USA to Beat the Canadians in the Final

The Four Nations faceoff was a massive success for the NHL as millions of viewers across North America tuned in to watch the games.

The final in particular was especially important, drawing record-shattering viewership in the United States.

The only downside to the tournament was the fact that many NHL players were excluded based on where they were born.

American fans were left disappointed though when Connor McDavid ended their hopes and dreams with the game-winning goal in overtime.

The result came as a surprise to some as Team USA did look like the better club on paper, especially with Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck in net.

One former NHL player that believed the Americans would take home the trophy is PK Subban, who covered the tournament on ESPN.

Subban, a native of Toronto, Ontario, turned against his countrymen with the prediction, as he apparently believed the Americans had the edge.

This rubbed several Canadians the wrong way including LA Kings defenseman Drew Doughty, who played against Subban for many years before the former Canadien retired.

Subban even posted to his Instagram page about how Doughty was made at him for picking the Americans over Canada.

Doughty played in all four games for Canada at the tournament, albeit in a minor role, collecting one assist and a +1 rating.

He's played in just seven games with the Kings this year after missing most of the season with a knee injury. He has a goal and four points. Hopefully lead the team on a deep playoff run.
