Florida pulled away in the third period scoring 4 unanswered goals before Bruins forward Taylor Hall scored to make it a three goal game. The game reached it's boiling point in the final three seconds, Trent Frederic of the Boston Bruins and Ryan Lomberg of the Florida Panthers started throwing fists. Both players landed some punched before it hit the ice in a wrestling match.
Lomberg has Frederic in a tight head lock and appears to choke him, in the video you can see Frederic's legs flailing.
Frederic was reportedly fuming after the game and rightfully so:
"Trent Frederic was reportedly screaming and absolutely fumed and had to be restrained heading back to the locker room. He mentioned getting choked on the ground by Ryan Lomberg after their tussle. After I rewatched the film, you can see Frederic's legs squirming and flailing. Disgusting move by Lomberg, not one bit surprised. "
There will be some extra heated emotion going into Game 3 on Friday night.
