Minnesota Wild assistant captain costs his team big, gets ejected minutes into the game for brutal knee-on-knee
The Dallas Stars are hosting the Minnesota Wild in Game 5 of their first round series on Tuesday night.
Wild forward Marcus Foligno was very vocal about the officiating after Sunday's 3-2 Game 4 loss. Foligno committed two penalties in Game 4, which directly led to goals. He told reporters they were
"B-------."
Foligno will have a tough time arguing this one. Less than three minutes into the game Foligno delivers a knee-on-knee hit on Stars forward Radek Faksa. Foligno received a five minute major on the play and a ten minutes for game misconduct.
The Stars capitalized on the power play with a goal from forward Tyler Seguin. The 31 year old Foligno is really starting to become a liability for the Wild.
The score is currently 2-0 Stars in the first period.
