New Jersey Lose Major Name for Game 1 against Carolina
A bit of a twist just before game 1 of the NHL Playoffs second round series between the New Jersey Devils and Carolina Hurricanes. Despite finishing game 7 against the New York Rangers following a massive hit from Jacob Trouba, and practicing with his teammates today, Timo Meier is out of the lineup for game 1.
Meier has been struggling for the Devils so far in the post season, but you can bet the team would prefer it much more if he were in the lineup instead of out.
