Canadiens & Sabres come together to complete trade
The Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres have completed a trade on Thursday sending Filip Cederqvist to Buffalo.
The Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres have come together on Thursday afternoon to complete a trade.
In a post on their social media, the Canadiens announced that they've acquired forward Filip Cederqvist from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for future considerations.

Cederqvist, 23, was drafted in the fifth round by the Buffalo Sabres in 2019. In 19 games this season for the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans, Cederqvist had four points (one goal, three assists), 11 penalty minutes and was a minus-five.
The Skara, Sweden native is expected to report to the Laval Rocket, Montreal's American Hockey League affiliate who is currently suffering with several injuries up front.
