I should preface this by saying that the reporter in question Rob Reinhart has been wrong in the past and is not a person that normally breaks hockey news nonetheless, this is something that if true, would break the hockey world.
We've seen multiple reports suggesting that Marner is either signing a contract extension with the Leafs or has no interest in doing so, leading to more trade speculation, however, this would be a major get for Utah HC.
