New Jersey Devils announce trade with the Minnesota Wild
The New Jersey Devils and Minnesota Wild have come together to complete a trade on Friday morning.
In a post on social media, the New Jersey Devils announced that they've acquired forward Adam Beckman from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward Graeme Clarke.
"The New Jersey Devils have acquired forward Adam Beckman in a trade with the Minnesota Wild in exchange for Graeme Clarke. The announcement was made by President/General Manager Tom Fitzgerald and Devils' Assistant General Manager/Utica Comets General Manager Dan MacKinnon." The Devils said.
Beckman, 23, appeared in 11 games this season for the Minnesota Wild where he had two assists. He also skated in 51 games for the AHL's Iowa Wild, recording 33 points (19 goals, 14 assists), 24 penalty minutes and was a minus-13.
Clarke, 23, made his NHL debut this past season, appearing in four games for the Devils, but played the majority of the year in the AHL with Utica. In 67 games with Utica, he put up 49 points (25 goals, 24 assists), 30 penalty minutes and was a plus-ten.
