While on the NHL Network, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period revealed that the Anaheim Ducks are willing to listen to trade offers on veteran forward Adam Henrique.

"It sounds like, as they were ahead of the trade deadline and as they were last off-season, the Anaheim Ducks and Pat Verbeek, coming in as GM, has made it known that he's willing to take calls on both of these guys (Henrique + John Gibson)." Pagnotta said.

He added, "With Adam Henrique, a rebound-type season, getting back into the fold. He's another player if you're a contending team that wants to solidify you're top-six, he's a guy that can come in and do that. And another player that's willing to accept that potential change of scenery out of Anaheim, given the direction the Ducks are currently in."

Henrique, 33, has been with the Anaheim Ducks since early in the 2017-18 season following a trade from the New Jersey Devils. In 62 games this past season, Henrique recorded 38 points (22 goals, 16 assists), 22 penalty minutes and was a minus-eight.

The Brantford (Ontario) native is entering the final year of his five-year contract, which sees him earn $5,825,000. His contract also includes a modified no-trade clause with a ten-team no-trade list.

While there will certainly be teams interested in Henrique's services this summer, it seems pretty unlikely that he'll be playing a top-six role on a contending team, as Pagnotta pointed out. He would be a perfect third line guy on a contending team and there won't be a shortage of teams interested in acquiring him, especially if the Ducks are willing to retain a portion of his salary.
