The NHL regular season is just a couple of weeks away, and the Anaheim Ducks have two holdouts who are slated to be a big part of the team's future. Neither former 6th overall pick Jamie Drysdale or 9th overall pick Trevor Zegras have been present at Anaheim's training camp. Now, one of them has been spotted skating in Toronto.
Drysdale has been spotted practicing with the Toronto Metropolitan University Men's Hockey Team.
This is the second unsigned player spotted in Toronto in recent days as Patrick Kane was recently spotted skating there as well. Kane is said to still be about a month away from getting back on the ice.
Having both Zegras and Drysdale absent for training camp is not a great look for Anaheim, and one that has fans nervous. Drysdale had been working out in California, but has since come back to his home base of Toronto, a possible sign that the two sides aren't even close to a new deal.
