According to reports, Anaheim Ducks head coach Greg Cronin has been fined $25,000 by the National Hockey League for 'unprofessional conduct towards officials'.
Cronin was given a two minute minor for unsportsmanlike conduct, followed by an ejection, by the officials on Monday night in a game between the Anaheim Ducks and Pittsburgh Penguins after his team had a goal overturned due to a questionable goaltender interference call.
It's understandable why Cronin was upset, given the no goal decision, but it's unclear what he said to trigger the officials into giving him an unsportsmanlike penalty, followed by an ejection.
