The Arizona Coyotes have proved to be a very positive surprise in the early going this season, sitting in the middle of the central division. Coming into the season, many expected them to be bad, but I don't think people expected their showing early on. With that being said, they're about to get some offensive help as well.
According to Craig Morgan of the NHL Network, general manager Bill Armstrong has confirmed Jason Zucker is on the verge of returning to the lineup; take a look.
An injury update for the Coyotes:
GM Bill Armstrong said that F Jason Zucker (lower body) should be able to return to the lineup by the game in Nashville on Nov. 11.
Zucker was injured in the home opener against Anaheim on Oct. 21.
Zucker, 31, has missed the last 6 games after being injured during the Coyotes home opener. He has skated in 5 games with the club, scoring 2 goals.
With the return of Zucker imminent, Arizona gets a player that can help them at both ends of the ice and if he continues showing he can put the puck in the net can likely fetch a decent return if they're out of a playoff race by the deadline.
