While being encouraged by someone in the background, fans at the Edmonton Oilers watch party last night got into a huge fight outside of Rogers Place.
The Edmonton Oilers 5-4 loss in overtime to the LA Kings in game 2 of their first round Stanley Cup Playoffs series must have annoyed some fans. While the players were on the ice at Rogers Place in Edmonton, fans outside got into a huge fight, while someone in the background encouraged them to go at it.
A person in a Zach Hyman jersey and another in a brown hoodie shouted insults at each other until one of them took a swing. Then it was on. The fight was mostly confined to those two people, who were eventually separated after falling to the ground.
The Oilers-Kings series is now tied at one game each, and heads to California for game 3 Friday night.
