In a strange turn of events that surprises almost nobody in Edmonton, the fights that have been happening outside in the Moss Pit have suddenly made an appearance inside Rogers Place Arena during the Western Conference final between the hometown Edmonton Oilers and the visiting Dallas Stars and while it's not unusual for fans to go at each other, it's unknown whether the fans who were involved in fisticuffs were purely Oilers fans or Oilers fans and Stars fans.

Seen in the video is multiple people wrestling when, all of a sudden, a gentleman falls backwards overtop a couple of rows of seats. It's an absolute wonder he didn't hit his head on the way down or hurt himself any more than it seems that he did.

The circumstances that started the altercation are unknown, but they are also irrelevant once you take into consideration the seriousness of it and understand that it could be a lot worse.

We seem to see this every single night in Edmonton, and whether it's something in the water or it's just fans having way too much fun with a bit of liquid courage to help them along, it doesn't make sense either way. Could you imagine if the Oilers got past the Stars and somehow won the Stanley Cup? How will fans react during celebrations, a parade, and anything else the team and the city have in store for them?
