fight breaks out in Moss Pit in Edmonton during watch party
While their team battled for their playoff lives during game five of their series against the Vancouver Canucks, the sentiment may have reached the fans in Edmonton, who have felt that maybe it was necessary for the team to live vicariously through them to get an edge over the Canucks even if they were 1159 kilometers away.
Thursday evening, during a watch party in the Moss Pit, fans were seen once again fighting with each other in what can only be explained as an alcohol-fueled disagreement.
As has been reported before, these incidents are not uncommon in Edmonton during the playoffs of late, and quite frankly, they've come to a point where they've become almost expected. All it takes is for one group or individual to look at someone funny or say something the other party deems offensive for fireworks to begin.
While the Oilers fell to the Canucks, although unlikely, it would be nice for fans to be able to attend their watch party at Moss Park just once without fear of any other altercation occurring.
