No matter what happens during a hockey game a player should never, under no circumstances receive threats. Period. Full stop. Today, Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman shared a direct message received after last night's game against the Winnipeg jets, take a look

From @RHartzy18's Insta Story: No matter how much you dislike a player or think negatively of something they did on the ice, never, ever send crap like this. The fact that he says «Personal fave» here means he probably got some other bad ones too. Do better. #mnwild #GoJetsGo This is absolutely heinous behaviour. Some fans take it way too far. No player, no matter what happens should ever see a threat like this. Hartman was part of a hostile game and he was suspended for his actions today. This person needs to be held accountable for their actions. The fact that Hartman also laments that this is his 'Fav' suggests this is nothing new. When will fans learn that there's some lines that should never be crossed. No player should be used to receiving these kinds of messages.
