Three players have been placed on waivers this morning, including two Minnesota Wild veterans.

NHL reporter Michael Russo, who covers the Minnesota Wild for the Athletic revealed today that the team has placed two of their players on waivers.
Those players would be veteran center Devin Shore and rookie forward Ben Jones.
It has been a busy couple of days as far as waivers are concerned as several teams made moves yesterday including the Vancouver Canucks, who made one surprising move with a former first round pick.
Ben Jones going on waivers is not a particuarly surprising move. The 25-year-old rookie has zero points through 25 games with the team this year and has just 23 shots on goal with 10 penalty minutes.
Furthermore, he has been averaging just over 8 minutes of ice time per game.
Understandably, the Wild would likely prefer to have someone they can trust a bit more at both ends of the ice in the lineup on a regular basis.
Devin Shore is a bit more surprising, but his numbers are not much better this season.
Like Jones, Shore was averaging just over 8 minutes of ice time per game this season.
He has just one assist in 24 games and has a -4 rating.
Unlike Jones though, Shore is an NHL veteran with over 400 games of experience.
That being said, he is into his 30s now, which is more or less retirement age for most players of his profile.
As such, this could be the last time we see him in the NHL.
That being said, the Wild were not the only team to put someone on waivers this morning.
The Tampa Bay Lightning also placed center Gage Goncalves on waivers.
The 23-year-old has just 2 points in 26 games for the Lightning this year.
Be sure to stay tuned to see if any of these players get claimed before the deadline tomorrow.
