Arber Xhekaj is starting to find his groove with the Montreal Canadiens.
The 24-year-old blueliner has a goal and 5 points in 53 games with the team this season, and has become an everyday player for the team.
The tough, enforcer-like defender has also gotten into five fights this season, potentially on pace to set a new career record in that category.
That being said, he's also focused on simplifying his game in accordance with head coach Martin St. Louis.
It seems like we could see him get into his sixth fight of the season tonight though as the Habs fan favorite had some shocking things to say ahead of the game.
He specifically went after Senators captain Brady Tkachuk, saying that he wants to confront him and 'make his life miserable.'
This are certainly fighting words, coming from somebody who is no stranger to fights.
Xhekaj has 83 penalty minutes this year, and 265 PIMs in 146 regular-season appearances.
Of course, Tkachuk is no saint himself, with 101 penalty minutes through 56 games this year and 728 in his 496 games of NHL experience.
That being said, he has only gotten into one fight this season, a bout against Dennis Gilbert on January 9th. Although he did get into a fight during the Four Nations faceoff.
Perhaps he is overdue for another, and this is the perfect excuse for him to drop the gloves.
So be sure to tune in to the Canadiens Senators game tonight as there is a good chance we will see fireworks!
