Canadiens fans are fed up with the officials early in game two of their series against the Capitals after another dirty play went uncalled.

The Canadiens gave the Capitals a run for their money in game one of their series much to the surprise of many fans.
Who knows, perhaps if a couple of calls went their way in game one they would have the series lead.
Today they are once again holding their own through one period of play against the Eastern Conference's top team.
That being said, Canadiens fans are once again not very pleased with the way the series is being called.
Habs fans were outraged in game one when Capitals defenseman Alexander Alexeyev got away with a cross check to the face of Brendan Gallagher.
Now we have another controversy on our hands as Capitals center Nic Dowd made a brutal knee on knee hit against Patrik Laine during the first period.
Like the Alexeyev cross check, there was no call on the play, not even a minor penalty.
Understandably, Habs fans are giving it to the refs with many arguing it should have been a major penalty and a game misconduct.
Luckily, Laine did not appear to be seriously injured on the play.
He will be a big part of the team's success if they are able to upset the Capitals in the series, so his health is if great importance to them.
Hopefully the Department of Player Safety will step in with a punishment for Dowd for this dangerous hit otherwise the series could get out of control.
