Predators & Penguins claim forwards off waivers: 29 placed on wire for Monday

Sunday's waiver wire was a busy one, once again, as team's continue to get ready for the start of the 2023-24 season, which gets underway in eight days.

On Monday, a pair of forwards that were on waivers yesterday were claimed by other teams, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. Swedish forward Samuel Fagemo was claimed off waivers by the Nashville Predators from the Los Angeles Kings, while Jansen Harkins was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Penguins from the Winnipeg Jets.

Meanwhile, a total of 29 players were placed on the waiver wire on Monday afternoon. Let's take a look at who was placed on the wire by their respective teams.

As is always the case from the opening of the waiver wire until the end of October, the order of teams that can place a claim is based off of last season's standings in reverse. The Anaheim Ducks get the first crack at placing a claim on any of the players above, followed by the Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks.

If any of the players above go unclaimed on Tuesday afternoon, they'll be assigned to their respective teams American Hockey League affiliate.
