Ilya Sorokin Absolutely Robs Jack Hughes with an Incredible Save
The quickness of the glove hand is phenomenal! Ilya Sorokin of the New York Islanders showed why he's widely regarded as one of the best netminders in the NHL right now with a save on a guy who is used to scoring.
In front of a hometown crowd, Sorokin just robbed Jack Hughes of the New Jersey Devils, who was in close with all the time in the world. By the time it was done, Hughes was smacking his stick on the end boards. Just when it looked like he might have made the move needed to get the puck past Sorokin, the goalie's glove flashed with lightning quickness.
The way remains so calm and collected afterwards is also something to see. Just another day at the office for Sorokin.
