The New York Rangers have money to spend after the Chris Kreider trade, and now they're set to take advantage of other teams with some major offer sheets.

This off-season is set to be a crucial one for the New York Rangers, and they've already shaken the organization up with two huge moves, naming Mike Sullivan their new Head Coach and this week trading Chris Kreider to the Anaheim Ducks.
That is reportedly set to continue, as the Rangers now have $15 million to spend on the open market, meaning they'll likely be in play for some very intriguing names, although they won't want to spend top dollar for a player like Mitch Marner.
According to a report from Elliotte Friedman, they have one major plan going into free agency as well, as they are reportedly set to take advantage of teams with players that are vulnerable to offer sheets.
Friedman has now reported that the Rangers are looking at teams that won't pay their players major bonuses in their contracts, and to take advantage, the team are set to offer some very bonus-heavy contracts to those players.
Players out there that would fit the Rangers team include Marco Rossi, JJ Peterka, Gabe Vilardi, Matthew Knies and Mavrik Bourque, and while they're likely to look at free agency and trades as ways to continue shaking up this roster, it appears that Chris Drury has a clear game plan in mind.
After seeing two offer sheets to the same team a season ago, it appears as though this summer could be chaos, and with so many teams eyeing up the top offer sheet vulnerable players, don't be surprised to see the Rangers as the most aggressive team among that group.
