During a recent interview after day two of the New York Rangers rookie camp, defensive prospect
Scott Morrow took a subtle jab at one of the organizations biggest divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers.
However, the 22-year old prospect couldn't help himself but throw a little jab at the Flyers, when he talked about joining the Rangers organization. As he stated his family will no longer be representing the Flyers.
Here's what he had to say:
New #NYR D Scott Morrow grew up in Connecticut -- as a Flyers fan.
"My dad was drafted by the Flyers, so I grew up a Flyers fan,'' he said. "I'm excited to be on the Ranger side now. I'll say that.''
Dad's OK with you being a Ranger?
"Yeah. No more Flyer shirts around the house."
Yes, it was meant in a laughing matter, but it's still a jab to the Flyers organization as their once former prospect will likely move on and became a fan of the Rangers due to his son joining the organization.
Scott Morrow Looking Forward To His Second Professional Season
