Philadelphia Flyers considering making major changes
The Philadelphia Flyers seem to be a team trapped in a perpetual circle of disappointment. After making the second round in 2019-2020, the Flyers are poised to miss the playoffs for the 3rd consecutive year. Mixed messages to the fan base and messages from ownership has left Flyers fans confused.
The Flyers currently sit 2nd last in the Metro Division, with a record of 24-29-11. The final straw might have been this year's Trade Deadline, when the Flyers were able to move none of their expiring contracts for assets. This leaves the Flyers again spinning their wheels.
Now according to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period it appears the Flyers are preparing to make major management changes over the coming months.
Noise in Philly's getting louder over a possible front office overhaul.
It seems like the temperature in Philly has been rising for a couple years now. Will Chuck Fletcher be able to survive another disappointing season in the City of Brotherly Love? Or will the fans finally get what they've wanted for awhile now?
The changes to management will likely be followed by a complete teardown of a clearly flawed roster. It seems like only a matter of time before major changes hit the team.
