The Philadelphia Flyers will be one team to watch as we quickly approach the National Hockey League's trade deadline for the 2023-24 season.

Among the names that could be moved by the Flyers in the next ten days are defencemen Nick Seeler and Sean Walker, the latter of whom who is reportedly expected to be traded very soon.

David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reported on Tuesday that the Philadelphia Flyers are more likely to move Walker before March 8th and that as of 12 p.m. ET, there have been no talks on a contract extension between the two sides.

"Depending who you talk, some GMs & team staff believe #LetsGoFlyers are more likely to trade RD Sean Walker than keep/extend him. We'll see. As of noon ET, still no formal contract talks bw the two sides. If he's dealt, does Philly move him separately or packaged with Seeler?" Pagnotta said.

According to Anthony Di Marco of The Fourth Period, he was told by a Western Conference team that they believe Sean Walker will be dealt 'sooner rather than later'.

"To add to this, I was told by a Western Conference team this AM they expect a Walker trade sooner rather than later.

I don't get the sense that PHI has an appetite for the contract the player is looking for." Di Marco said.

The cost to acquire Sean Walker could be extremely high, as it was reported earlier this month by Frank Seravalli that the Philadelphia Flyers are seeking a first-round pick as part of the return.

Walker, 29, has appeared in 59 games this season for the Philadelphia Flyers, who acquired him last summer from the Los Angeles Kings. In those 59 games, the Keswick, Ontario native has 21 points (five goals, 16 assists), 30 penalty minutes and is a plus-eight.
