St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington appears to be a surly character who has no problem being the villain in the story.

During a game last season against the Minnesota Wild, Binnington showed off his hot temper. Wild forward Ryan Hartman scored the go-ahead goal and while skating over to celebrate with his teammates, accidentally made contact with Binnington's leg. Binnington, hit Hartman in the face with his blocker. Binnington received a match penalty as a result.
Binnington then proceeded to raise the roof in an attempt to fire up the crowd like a true heel. It wasn't a good look and the Wild proceeded to win 8-5.
This is just one example of many that can be found on Binnington questionable choices.
Last night Binnington's Blues were visiting the Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights. Blues winger Pavel Buchnevich scored 38 seconds into overtime to give St. Louis the win. Binnington was solid making 33 saves in the victory.
Binnington was asked post-game about how his team responded from their 4-1 loss on Saturday to the Arizona Coyotes. The 30 year old, responded in a brash way taking a shot at the Coyotes.
"It's nice to step into the Vegas atmosphere after playing in the college arena in Arizona."

After a dip in play the last couple seasons, Binnington has bounced back while backstopping a middle of the road Blues team, posting a 8-6-1 record with a .914 save percentage and 2.86 GAA.
While Binnington will never win an award for being the most likeable guy, he's being himself and you have to appreciate that.
