A tough day at the office for this official. Eeli Tolvanen of the Seattle Kraken took out a referee last night with a pretty brutal hit from behind.
Seattle was taking on the LA Kings when Tolvanen went to chase a puck into the corner. He realized too late that there was a referee in the way and had no opportunity to avoid him.
The referee was fine, which is good because that could have gone much worse. As you can see, Tolvanen made sure to check on him before skating away. Head on a swivel, boys.
