32-year-old goaltender linked to the Toronto Maple Leafs as Anthony Stolarz remains injured

With Anthony Stolarz dealing with an injury, the Toronto Maple Leafs are in need of goaltending, and there is one goalie with the Chicago Blackhawks who could do it.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are in a tough spot right now with goaltender Anthony Stolarz, who has been out of the lineup for quite some time.
Joseph Woll has taken the responsibility from Stolarz, and for the most part, he has been great. Meanwhile, Dennis Hildeby has been better than expected and even got a win last night.
Despite this, Stolarz's absence is leaving many fans concerned, and the organization is also feeling those very same feelings.
It is getting to a point where the team has to think about finding a replacement; otherwise, things are just going to get worse.
Laurent Brossoit becomes an option for the Toronto Maple Leafs?
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, a goalie has just become available. He may very well be the right goaltender for the Leafs.
The netminder in question is Laurent Brossoit, who is currently with the Chicago Blackhawks, and has been left in limbo.
The Blackhawks don't really have room for him. He's carrying a $3.3 million cap hit, not everybody can take that, so there might be some work that needs to be done here, but he will be watched very closely, and the Blackhawks have allowed people to talk to him.
He has a career goals-against average of 2.64 and a save percentage of .911. This is the perfect opportunity for Brossoit to get a fresh start with a team that would let him play.
With that in mind, the Leafs probably aren't first in line for Brossoit. The Maple Leafs still don't know how long Stolarz will be out for, and if this will last until the New Year.
Whatever the case may be, the team needs to think of something. Or, at the very least, let the media know what's going on with their goaltender.
